Welcome to Lynnwood Library Homepage!
All students at Lynnwood have the opportunity to use our library on a regular basis: library classes, independent research, technology instruction, book choice, instruction with classroom teachers, small group work and special presentations.

Thank you volunteers!
We are so lucky to have
wonderful parent volunteers in our library each week.
Parent volunteers help shelve books, keep the library neat, help
students find materials, and make our library a better place for
all! Thank you!
We love Leo Lionni!

Our second graders learned about author/illustrator LEO LIONNI in the classroom and in our library. They read and examinedLeo's message in each book. They made connections to their own lives and the world around them. They created art inspired by Leo's illustrations.

Pennies for Peace
Lynnwood's 2011-2012 school theme is "Changing the World through friendship, peace, and service to others". It was inspired by the books Three Cups of Tea and Listen to the Wind, both by Dr. Greg Mortensen.
All students will be participating in activities that connect to this theme throughout the school year.
