The 5th grade physical education
curriculum represents a gradual transition from the
concept approach to a more formal sport skills
program. Children are introduced to a variety of sport
units and are assessed in the following: Basketball,
Circus Arts, Floor Tennis, Gymnastics, Physical
Fitness (twice a year) and Rhythm & Dance. In
addition, a Cooperative Games/Project Adventure unit
will be taught but not graded.
