Voters approve 2010-11 school budget

On Tuesday, May 18 Guilderland Central School District residents approved (YES: 2,183, NO: 1,784) an $87,447,715 budget for the 2010-11 school year. Voters also approved the bus and equipment proposition and elected Barbara Fraterrigo, Colleen O'Connell, Allan Simpson, and Gloria Towle-Hilt to the Board of Education. Learn more 

Community fundraising for athletics

Citizens' Budget Advisory Committee

On March 18, the Citizens’ Budget Advisory Committee (CBAC) concluded their meetings regarding the proposed 2010-11 school year budget. More than 80 district residents and staff members attended a Community Conversation in early February focusing on the district's long-range financial outlook. Participants broke into small groups to discuss how the district will be able ensure continued program integrity for students despite increasing costs and a significant loss in funding.
