"Committed to our future; Protecting your investment"
On
November 13, 2007, district residents approved a $26,971,500 building
project referendum to renovate portions of the district’s five elementary
schools; upgrade safety, security, and technology systems district wide;
and relocate the district administrative offices to Guilderland High
School.
The project will enable the Guilderland Central School District to continue to provide safe and well-maintained facilities to support student learning and achievement, and will address many of the district’s long-range needs. The proposal also aims to maximize the use of $1.78 million in EXCEL Aid that the district has been awarded by the state.

Summer work to begin June 28, 2010
As the 2009-10 school year draws to a close, the district-wide construction and renovation project approved by voters in November, 2007, is proceeding on schedule. At many buildings, “priority one” items as identified in the Facilities Committee report are either completed or will be completed by September. As many construction bids came in lower than expected, the district is planning to begin work on several priority two and three items in the months ahead.
