Spread over approximately 60 square miles, the district offers all types of neighborhood living, from older, traditional homes to suburban housing developments to farms.

School District:
The Guilderland Central School District is comprised of five elementary schools, one middle school and the high school. The District serves approximately 4,800 students and enjoys a strong reputation for academic excellence. Empowering all students to succeed in the 21st century has been more than a mission statement. It has been a call to action for students, parents, administrators, teachers and everyone associated with the school district. Our district focuses on the whole child, not just one aspect of his or her learning. The individualized approach, coupled with a strong curriculum that reflects the latest research in education, puts considerable emphasis on stimulating students’ curiosity, encouraging them to challenge themselves, building their self-esteem, giving them the opportunity to work in cooperative teams, and helping them to become interested and invested learners.
