Guilderland Public Library to hold Building Project Referendum June 26
May 23, 2012—On Tuesday, June 26, Guilderland Central School District residents will head to the polls to decide on a $12.95 million building project referendum for the Guilderland Public Library. Polls will be open at all five district elementary schools from noon to 9 p.m. on that day.
Similar to how residents cast their ballots for the library budget and trustee candidates during the school district's annual budget vote, voters will head to one of the district's five elementary schools to cast their ballot on the proposed library expansion project. That is because the Guilderland Public Library is chartered as an official school district public library and as such, the school district is responsible for administering their votes.
