GHS student ensembles perform for the Community Caregivers Gala
Nov. 28, 2011—Students from Guilderland High School
recently shared their musical talents at the annual Community Caregivers
Gala, helping to celebrate and recognize all of the volunteers who keep
residents of our community leading productive lives . Community Caregivers
provides services that enable individuals of all ages to maintain their
independence, dignity and quality of life within their homes and
communities.
Guilderland High School music directors Kathleen Richards Ehlinger and Lee
Russo led and performed with various small student ensembles. Contributing
to the wonderful evening were: Saxophone Quartet (Jake Benninger, Jessica
Cohen, Daniella Giardina, Halli Travers), String Quartet (Sarah Barton,
Kristen Bourgeois, Michelle Kang, Alex Laing) and Trumpet Ensemble (Leonard
Bopp, Sam Diedrich, Mark Lawler, Jake McGrath).
