Trick or Treat Street set for Oct. 27 at GHS

October 3, 2012—The Guilderland High School Class of 2014 is sponsoring the annual Trick or Treat Street on Saturday, October 27 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at GHS. The event, which is open to children of all ages, will feature trick-or-treating throughout the school building as well as a magic show, carnival with games and prizes, haunted house, sing-a-longs, dance performances, safety show, raffles, refreshments, and a lot more!

Due to an overwhelming response last year, a tip sheet has been designed to help make your experience at Trick or Treat Street a positive and memorable one! Download the event flyer (PDF) and the Trick or Treat Street parent tip sheet (PDF)

Admission to Trick or Treat Street is $5.00 per child (adults are free) and includes a game card for prizes, candy, and all entertainment for the evening. Visitors to Trick or Treat Street may also have individual or group portraits taken that night for an additional charge.

For more information on the event, please contact Class of 2014 co-advisor Ann Marie McManus.

** Just added ** Do you have an old iPod that still works, but isn’t being used anymore? The Teresian House Center for the Elderly (a local nursing home) is collecting iPods to be used for music therapy with their Alzheimer’s residents. So if you have an old iPod, bring it with you to Trick or Treat Street on October 27th! They will be collected and then donated to the Teresian House. Anyone who brings an iPod to donate will have their name put in a raffle for a prize from a local business! Any questions, contact Morgan Olson at mholson88@gmail.com
