Transportation

Special transportation requests

Please follow the information listed below to submit changes to your child's pick-up and/or drop off locations:.

Permanent changes
Please submit all permanent changes in your child’s pick-up and/or drop-off locations in writing to your child’s school directly. You must complete and submit an Alternate Transportation form, available on our district "forms" page. In addition to being online, this form is available at all Guilderland schools.

Changes for a day

If your child has a change in pick-up and/or drop-off locations for one day in particular, parents/guardians must submit a note to the child's
teacher and a bus pass will be issued accordingly.

Requests for transportation to non-public schools

Guilderland will honor requests for transportation to private and parochial schools provided requests are made no later than April 1 of the preceding school year. New district residents have 30 days to submit transportation requests.

Parents/guardians may make arrangements for transportation of children who attend private/parochial school by submitting two copies of the request form to non-public schools, available on our district "forms" page, directly to the Guilderland Transportation Office.
