Why Not Join?
In case
you didn't already hear Senior Ski Club is open to ALL
7th, and 8th grade students who can ski or ride. If you
have at least one year of experience skiing or riding you
can join! If you have skied down
the "bunny slopes" at nearby ski areas. If you
have conquered Maple Ski Ridge, and you are looking to get out
of the house on Saturdays with your friends and practice skiing or riding,
then this is the club for you! Feeling a
bit uneasy about joining the "Senior" ski club?
Well don't be. There won't be any seniors in the club
(unless you're thinking that the chaperones are seniors)! To be totally honest I'm not
even sure why
it's called "Senior" ski club. Whatever the case,
there's no pressure that you must ski trails like
Exterminator or Organgrinder (yes, those are actual trails
at Sugarbush). Just get a few friends together and get ready
for some fun in the sun! If you don't have any friends that
ski then we can always partner you up with other kids of the
same ability as you. After all this is a large school
and it's always cool to meet new people. We do not
offer rentals or lessons (check out the FAQ
section of this site) but what we do offer
is a bus trip and a lift ticket to many ski areas in New
York and Vermont. Once you step off the bus you and your
friends can ski or ride a variety of trails from novice
(green circles) to expert (sometimes double diamonds)! So
give it a shot. Join Senior Ski Club so you can get out and
enjoy what Winter has to offer! Go to the Ski
Club Forms page for the membership forms you need to
join! |
