Study Skills Committee
Meeting Minutes
12/2/05 8 a.m.

1.  Lauren reported that as of 12/1, no one had requested monies for organizational purchases.
          All teachers are encouraged to request monies for those aids that promote organization for
          students.  Forms are available in all house offices and will be in the copy room soon.

2.  Mary Jeanne is updating our webpage (link) through January.  Thank you Mary Jeanne! 
     Some good information on the page.  Browse it when you have a minute or two.

3.  Sandy reported that she has helped students on Linda and Mark's team with the organization
     of their lockers and will be doing so again soon. 

4.  Ten students were identified by their teachers as being outstanding for their
     organization/study skills.  A breakfast for these students will be held Wednesday, 12/21
     at 8 am in the Reading Place.

5.  Color-coded book covers are still available from Charlie.  They are small but can be placed
     over a brown paper cover.  A-pad wall models are still available, as well, from Charlie (room 456) .

6.  Some discussion took place regarding the summer school supplies sale.  A letter to determine
     parent interest will be sent home via backpack mail or with report cards.  This will be a
     fundraiser, but prices will be kept very reasonable.

                 Meeting dates beyond this have not yet been scheduled.
