Help support the Regional Food Bank...
FMS Food Drive underway thru Feb. 29
Feb. 14, 2012—The Seneca 6G
team is hosting a school-wide FMS Food Drive to benefit the Regional Food
Bank’s Backpack Program from Feb. 13-29. Please bring all donations to the
Backpack Food bin next to the marked box in your House Office.
So, what is the Backpack Program?
The Regional Food Bank’s Backpack Program helps alleviate child
hunger by providing hungry children with nutritious and easy-to-prepare food
at times when other resources are not available, such as on weekends. The
program provides kids with food that is child-friendly, shelf stable, and
easy to prepare.
You can help by collecting backpack food!
• Juice Boxes
• Cereal Bars or Boxes of Single-Serve Cereal
• Shelf-Stable (powdered) Milk Boxes (White or Chocolate)
• Beef Stew, Ravioli, Chili, or other Entrees
• Boxed Macaroni and Cheese
• Canned Fruit
• Canned Vegetables
• Single-Serve Crackers or Cookies
Thank you for participating in this exciting school-wide drive and for helping those in need! For more information on the FMS Food Drive, please contact Mr. Fry.
