April 5, 2017 — The school district is seeking motivated students currently in grades 6-12 who are interested in ecology and service learning for the Butterfly Station summer program. Students spend three weeks in the program leading guided tours, maintaining the gardens, educating others and, most importantly, raising butterflies for our butterfly house! It is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy working outside and are interested and enthusiastic about ecology and teaching others.
Applications are due no later than May 5, 2017
There are two summer sessions:
Session 1: July 10 - July 28
Session 2: July 24 - August 11
Both sessions will run Monday - Friday, from 9:30 am to 1 pm.
Space in the program may be limited. Please keep in mind that this is a three-week commitment and make every effort to sign up for a session where the student can attend the entire time. Students interested in participating should complete and submit this entire form no later than May 5. You will receive a confirmation message if the form has been submitted correctly. Students will be notified by of their official acceptance and session time.
