The PTA
represents parents and teachers working together for the
success and greater achievement in our children. Read more
about the Purpose of PTA.
Benefits of PTA The PTA supports a variety of
activities and educational tools to enrich and expand our
children’s education, value and awareness of the world
around them and their place in it.
By organizing book
fairs, the PTA helps to promote reading. The PTA also provides for the
purchase of building and school enhancements and donations
to individual classrooms. And by providing funding for
visiting authors, cultural and other enrichment activities,
our children gain an appreciation for the diversity that
exists among us and instills a sense of tolerance, respect
and appreciation of others.
Activities The PTA offers many opportunities
for families to develop friendships and have fun outside of
school. The Calendar of Events includes family fun nights, ice cream socials, the
Harvest Dinner/Fall Fest and
field trips. The PTA organizes the school photos and a
school yearbook. And the PTA recognizes school volunteers and
staff for the important work they do.
Join the PTA Please join us in working to
enrich our children’s academic achievement, to expand our
children’s horizons and to enrich their lives in ways that
we can only achieve by working together. You are always
welcome to attend the PTA Meetings and to contact the
Officers about issues that concern you.
Volunteers The PTA depends on many capable
volunteers to carry out all the wonderful activities and
programs it offers. View the List of
