2008-09 grade level supply lists

Listed below are the common supplies needed for each grade level. With the August placement letter, parents will receive this list and information about any additional items that your child’s teacher may request. Please note that this is only the basic list of supplies.

Kindergarten	1 – large backpack 1 – pkg. fat washable markers (primary colors) 1 – pkg. thin washable markers 1 – plain, two pocket folder, one color (no designs) 1 – 1 inch binder with clear view cover 1 – small, quick, healthy snack each day 1 – photo of student for a class project
Grade 1	20 – sharpened pencils 1 – set of colored pencils 2 – glue sticks 2 – two pocket folders 1 – eight pack of Crayola thin washable markers 3 – pkgs. 3”x3” post-it-notes (not super-sticky kind) 2 – boxes of tissues 1 – small, healthy snack each day 1 – non-rolling backpack 1 – art smock (adult size t-shirt works well) *Approximately $4.00 will be collected for current events magazine subscription.
Grade 2	1 – box of 24 crayons 2 – packages Ticonderoga pencils (a few sharpened) 1 – package colored pencils 1 – large eraser 2 – glue sticks 1 – pkg. wide tip markers 1 – pkg. thin tip markers 3 – pkgs. 3”x3” post-it-notes (not super-sticky kind) 1 – art smock (an old, large shirt is fine) 2 – boxes of tissues 4 – pocket folders 2 – composition notebooks Sneakers for physical education and playground use.
Grade 3	7 – bottom pocket folders 2 – packages of sharpened pencils 1 – eraser 2 – glue sticks 3 – marble composition notebooks 3 – pkgs. 3”x3” post-it-notes (not super-sticky kind) 1 – smock (an old large shirt is fine) 1 – pkg. of assorted colored highlighters 2 – boxes of tissues Sneakers for physical education and playground use.
Grade 4	3 – dozen pencils 1 – package wide-ruled notebook paper 3 – marble composition notebooks 1 – package of colored pencils 2 – glue sticks 2 – boxes of tissues to share with the class 5 – solid colored 2-pocket folders ( red, blue, green, yellow and purple) 2 – pkgs. 3”x 3” post-it-notes (not super-sticky kind) – to be replenished Fun pens to use in Writer’s Notebook 1 – 12” hard plastic ruler (with inch and centimeter scale) Smock for Art Estimated cost for field trips: $15.00
Grade 5	1 – pkg. white lined loose leaf paper 2 – black and white marble composition notebooks 6 – two pocket folders, in red, blue, green, yellow, orange & purple 1 – box #2 pencils 1 – glue stick 1 – small, flat container for desk supplies (cigar box size) 3 – pkgs. 3”x3” post-it-notes (not super-sticky kind) - to be replenished 1 – box of tissues 1 – clipboard 1 – pkg. colored pencils – sharpened 1 – two pocked folder – any design Sneakers for physical education and playground use. Field Trip cost – approximately $75.00
