Format:

      Author (Date).  Title: Subtitle (edition). Place: Publisher.

Examples:

       Strunk, W., Jr., & White, E. B. (1979). The elements of style (3rd ed.). New York: Macmillan.

      American Psychiatric Association. (1990). Diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders (3rd ed.).
                  Washington, DC: Author.

        *(note: "Author" is used as above when author and publisher are identical.)

MAGAZINE & JOURNAL ARTICLES

Format:

      Author (Date). Title of Article. Title of Periodical, pages found.

Examples:

       Caffeine linked to mental illness (1991, July 13). New York Times, B13, B15.

       Gardner, H. (1991, December). Do babies sing a universal song? Psychology
                 Today,70-76.

       University of Pittsburgh. (1993). The title goes here. Journal of Something, 8, 5-9.

WEBSITE OR WEBPAGE

Format:

      Author (Date). Institution. Access Date <URL>.

Examples:

Format:

Article From A Reference Book
