RULES
Please read or work quietly.
Please do not bring food or drink into the
library.
Please respect the rights of others who are
working in the library.
GHS ID CARDS
Students should always carry their GHS ID card.
Students should have their ID card to
check out library materials.
Students get one ID card as a Freshman.
This card should last all four years.
If a card is lost or stolen, students should notify the
library immediately.
The library can replace lost IDs at a cost of
$3.00. (See us for details.)
Students new to GHS will be issued an ID
card.
Students are responsible for materials checked out
on their card.
Books are expensive. Students are advised to not check out books
for others.
LIBRARY
COMPUTERS
Library Computers are to be used for school
related activities and assignments.
Students are to follow the Guilderland
District's computer policy and not play games, shop, go into chat
rooms, or e-mail using the district's computers.
Students are asked to not change display options or download
programs.
Library staff may restrict printing -
students are asked to please be aware of how many pages they are
printing.
Research Databases are available on on our
website 24/7. See the GHS Librarians to obtain the remote
passwords.
ADVISORY
POLICY
In order to visit the library during
advisory, students should have an Advisement Travel Card (pre-signed
pass) signed by one of their subject area teachers and their
advisory teacher.

If the library is full, preference must be
given to students who need to use library resources.
