Introduction to Sports Medicine

The course in Sports Medicine is a ˝ unit of Physical Education credit designed to give students who are interested in health related careers the opportunity to be exposed to the subject area.  The students will learn the basics of prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of sports related injuries and gain a working knowledge of the athletes’ body.  Students will be required to fulfill an internship under the supervision of the Guilderland High School Certified Trainer.
