First Day of  School

The first day in Physical Education class is packed with information and each student should pay close attention to the information being offered.  Students are not required to change clothes for class on the first  day, just be attentive.  We begin with the announcement that their next class will be for school pictures which takes place during this class  period. Next, we review the information they will need to know to succeed in class.  The topics covered include class dress, missing and making up work, grading, securing your clothes in the locker room, safety procedures within class and  school requirements.  Finally, we begin to cover what will be taught during the semester,  specifics of the units and who will be teaching the course.  Students then have the option to choose the program they want for that semester.  This may take place during the first class or after pictures in the next class.  Either way, by the third class students will be changed and very active.
