Senior Alternative Program
Application
The Physical
Education Department will be offering an alternative
physical education program for qualifying students for
ONE SEMESTER ONLY.
Standards for
Eligibility
ü
Students must have a history of exemplary performance in
physical education throughout their high school career.
ü
Must be a senior, who is presently an in-season
Varsity athlete on a Guilderland High School Interscholastic
Team.
REMOVAL FROM THE
PROGRAM
If your
son/daughter is removed from the program, due to either of
the reasons listed below, they will be responsible for
reporting back to their physical education class within four
school days of dismissal from the Alternative Physical
Education Program. Failure to do so will result in a one
semester (two quarters) failure grade.

Dismissal from a team by a coach or administrator
2.
Quitting a team
