Guilderland High School PTSA Online
Auction is underway!
This year, the Guilderland High School PTSA is putting a
different twist on their annual fundraising auction. With
all the activities families happily participate in daily
with their students, in addition to busy work schedules, we
decided to take a break from our dinner and silent auction
and let people leisurely browse our many exciting auction
items 24/7, from the comfort of their own computer, at our
first online auction which begins Wednesday, April 23 at
8am and runs through Monday, May 5 at midnight!
All community members are invited to visit

variety of items that have been donated by our generous
local businesses, teachers, and parents. Our website is easy
to use and offers written and verbal help throughout the
site if you have any questions. We have gift certificates
for local restaurants, gift shops, book stores, manicures,
spa packages, tutoring sessions, internet training sessions,
greens fees for local golf courses, art, health club
memberships, sports gear, prom tickets, GHS parking passes,
take out lunches served in school with select GHS teachers,
yearbooks, extra graduation tickets, sporting event tickets,
basketball training sessions, collectibles, jewelry, hotel
stays, and even personal TV station tours with Elisa
Streeter and Roger Wyland for the budding broadcaster in
your family!
All proceeds from our auction benefit GHS PTSA student
scholarships, student events, our Helping Hands fund, and
teacher grants. We are proud of the level of scholarship
assistance we have been able to provide for many years for
needy students as well as the funding of educational supply
grants for our teachers, and we recently added the Helping
Hands fund which funds emergency situations encountered by
those in the GHS community. All support for these programs
is derived from our fundraisers and so we sincerely hope you
will take a minute to log on and bid! We have opening bids
on some items as low as $5 and all purchases are tax
deductible. We can even ship your purchases for you at your
expense.
