Log in information for PARENTS
To create your own secure account and log in information:
1. Go to http://guilderland.gradespeed.net and click on the Parent option.
2. Click on ‘Click here to sign up.’ All information that is essential to access your child’s account is on the back of the letter that was recently sent home to parents.
3. Create a username of your choosing for your account and then fill in the address and contact information – you do need to use the same information that appears in our computer system for your address and parent contact information (for instance, if the parent contact information is listed as Mr. and Mrs. John Doe, then John Doe’s name must be used). This is one of a few security restrictions in place to ensure each student’s information is being accessed only by legal guardians. If desired, two accounts can be created with the same information by changing the username once the first account has been created. After typing in all required information and after adding your email, click on ‘Sign up.’
4. From that screen, click on Manage Students and you may add your child/children to your account. When completing the information about each child, please remember to add all zeroes for your child’s student identification number. Once your child is added, you will be able to navigate through the available information using the list of options on the left side of the screen.

On that screen, if you click on a grade for a class, you will get a breakdown of the categories for that grade and the list of past assignment. The Attendance option will provide a list of any days or classes that have been missed.
