9th annual Dodgeball Tournament a success for the Altamont Food Pantry
March 9, 2017—On Friday, March
3, GHS hosted its 9th annual Dodgeball Tournament, in
partnership with the district-wide physical education department. This
year's event raised $2,181 for the Altamont Food Pantry through donations,
ticket sales, sponsors, and team registrations.
Twenty teams battled for the "championship title" but the double elimination style contest, one team, "Lost in the Sauce," won not only the title but the championship t-shirts!
The PE department would like to sincerely thank the 250 students and 50 teachers/staff who played that night and to all those who came to the event. Your participation truly made the night a success. To date, the annual tournament has raised over $31,000!
