Information for the 2017 Senior Ball

May 5, 2017—The 2017 Senior Ball is set for Friday, June 2 at the Saratoga City Center from 6 to 11 p.m. Students must arrive by 7 p.m.

Schedule:
6 to 7 p.m. - Hors d'oeuvres
7 to 11 p.m. - Dinner stations, dancing, dessert

Formal pictures will be taken by Lifetouch and there will be two photo-booths available, one with photo magnets and one with photo strips.

Any students with food allergies should notify class advisors by Monday, May 15.

Ticket Sales:

May 8, 9, 11 and 15 - before and after school (7:10 to 7:30 a.m. and  2:21 to 3:10 p.m.)

Purchase price: $60 per person

By check or money order only,  payable to Guilderland High School

*Please note: Refunds will not be issued.

Directions to the Saratoga City Center:
Adirondack Northway (I-87) north to Exit 15.  Turn left off exit ramp onto Route 50 (see address above for GPS)

Parking:
Go to end of Ellsworth Jones Place (formerly Grove Street) and turn left on Maple Avenue.  Parking lot entrance is immediately on right

Arrival:
Upon arrival at the Saratoga City Center, there will be an informal walk-in as students proceed in.  Parents will be allowed to take pictures as students enter the center. For security reasons, parents are not allowed beyond this point.  Those not attending the ball must leave promptly at 7 p.m.  Once inside the Saratoga City Center, all students will be required to take a breathalyzer test.

Expectations for Behavior:
Students are expected to remain in the main ballroom and are not permitted to wander to other parts of the center.  All school rules regarding student conduct apply while at The Saratoga City Center.  School officials reserve the right to ask anyone not abiding by school rules to leave the festivities. Once students leave the City Center, there will be no re-entry to the ball.  All students must sign out upon leaving.  Any student asked to leave early will not receive a refund.

Pictures:
There will be professional photographers offering a variety of photo packages.  Information will be available at the time that tickets are sold or outside rooms 623 and 612.  Please note: Money for the photographer is needed the night of the prom.  Additional forms will be available that evening. Seating:
There will be assigned seating for dinner.  Students with requests must submit a table request to Mrs. Dayton or Mrs. Gallagher.There are 10 seats per table and groups will be combined when necessary to fill each table. (For example, a group of four will be put with a group of six).

Bringing a student from another school?
Students bringing a guest from another school need to submit a request form. Forms are available in the East Office or Room 623/612 and must be submitted no later than May 26.
