Board of Education adopts $100.9 million spending plan for 2018-19

The Board of Education adopted a $100.9 million spending plan for the 2018-19 school year at its April 17th meeting. The proposed budget maintains all current programs, creates a mental health clinic, and adds a new elective. read more about the plan here

GCSD schools will be in session Friday, May 25th

Due to the number of used snow/emergency days during the 2017-18 school year, all GCSD schools and district offices will be in-session on Friday, May 25th, 2018. Monday, May 28th, 2018, is still a school recess day district-wide in observance of the Memorial Day holiday and all district offices and schools will be closed.

2018-19 school calendar change

The recently adopted 2018-19 school calendar will need to go back to the Board of Education on April 17, 2018 to be amended. The April 2019 break will be changed to April 19-26, rather than April 15-22. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, but we need to line our vacations up with other school districts so that certain programs can be run for the benefit of our students.

 

Capital Region Job Fair April 18

Guilderland High School will host a Region School District Job Fair on Wednesday, April 18, 3-7 p.m., in the gym. Positions available in teaching, school support, substitute position in all titles. more information (PDF)
