PTA Membership Directory

Those joining the PTA will have the option to include their names, children’s names and contact information in a directory to be handed out to everyone joining the PTA. This directory may be useful in planning play dates or birthday parties with other Westmere children, especially those that may not be in your child’s classroom. It is not intended for business solicitation purposes and participation in it is completely voluntary.

Price Chopper Tools for Schools
has seen some new people signing up this year, but of course we need more. If you signed up last year, you do not need to sign up again. Please consider asking grandparents, aunts, uncles even businesses you know that may shop at Price Chopper to allow us to sign up their advantage card numbers under Westmere Elementary. Don’t forget that last year we were able to get an Ellison dye cut machine and letters and numbers to go with it. This allows us to make our own signs and is a wonderful tool for the school to have. In addition, some of the schools with the highest point values will receive FREE computers – so let’s give it our best shot! If you know an advantage number that isn’t signed up, please complete and submit the form below. You can send us your advantage card online.

School banking
The school banking club is back this year and will be held on Tuesdays during the lunch time period. New account packets and information will be available at the open houses for anyone who wants to open an account for their child but has not done so. Last year’s accounts will continue to be active and available for the children, regardless of whether they were used over the summer.

Box Tops for education
from your General Mills products will be collected in your child’s classroom right from the start of school. It is never too early to start cutting them out. The grade with the most number of box tops collected will receive an ice cream sundae party. In addition, Campbell’s Soup Labels and Hannaford register receipts are also being collected as ways to earn money and equipment for PTA. The soup labels will be collected in a bin in the front of the building and the Hannaford slips may be sent in directly to the PTA mailbox.
