WES 2018-19 Supply Lists

Want to get a jump-start on back-to-school supplies?

Gr. 1 | Gr. 2 | Gr. 3 | Gr. 4 | Gr. 5

To prepare for the many exciting things we will be doing, various supplies will be needed.  Many supplies will be shared and some will not. A few additional items may be requested by individual teachers. These items will be included in your child’s welcome letter in August.  Your support is appreciated!

*Please do not label these items:

  • (1) bottle Elmer’s glue
  • (2) boxes 24-count Crayola crayons
  • (1) box 24-count colored Crayola pencils
  • (1) box Ticonderoga pencils (sharpened preferred)
  • (1) box dry-erase markers
  • (1) box of tissues
  • (8) glue sticks
  • (1) Mead primary journal (this is a special composition book that has picture paper on the top and primary writing paper on the bottom — these can usually be found on sale in early summer)
  • (2) boxes thick Crayola washable markers
  • (1) large container of disinfecting wipes

Please label the following items with your child’s name:

  • (1) heavy-duty take-home folder of your choice (this will travel to and from school each day for papers, notes, etc., so poly is recommended)
  • (2) folders with horizontal pockets: 1 blue, 1 red
  • Over-the-ear Headphones (not earbuds) in a gallon-sized ziploc bag (Jack should be straight not a right angle in order to best fit into our iPads) Headphones with right angle jacks will be returned as they do NOT fit into our cases)
  • (1) art smock (old adult-sized t-shirt preferred. No aprons or vinyl please)
  • (1) beach towel for rest time. Please place in a reusable or plastic grocery bag with handles. These will be hung on hooks out in the hallway. Please do not purchase any special resting blankets or sleeping bags. Rest time is typically phased out within the first couple of weeks of school.
  • (1) backpack – large enough to hold a lunch box and school supplies (and also big enough to hold snow clothes in the winter). Please, no rolling backpacks with wheels.
