Altamont Elementary month-long reading project for the Ronald McDonald House Charities

For the month of March, Altamont Elementary students will log hours reading to collect donations for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region. All donations will go directly to the charity, which supports families dealing with severe childhood illnesses.

Students work to get sponsors for time reading and/or being read to, and participants commit to this time. Final donations will be collected by early April and will be donated directly to the charity.

Information for AES Families

Information was emailed to families on Friday, February 26, which included videos, a reading calendar and directions on how to create a webpage page for making donations on-line. All donations must be sent on-line or to the school by April 13.
