In partnership with Invent Now, Guilderland Central School District is proud to once again offer the nationally-acclaimed Camp Invention program this summer from August 12-16, 2019 at Farnsworth Middle School.
The week-long adventure is open to children through grade six, and new this year, will be offered to children in kindergarten. Camp Invention is a program where students learn science, technology, engineering and math in a weeklong experience that taps into the spirit of innovation.
Katie Mcnally, a mathematics teacher at Farnsworth Middle School, will be acting as the program’s director for the third year in a row:
“We had such an exciting Camp Invention last summer, headlined by a visit from Marshall Jones, an inductee of the National Inventors’ Hall of Fame. Every summer is better than the last, and this summer will be no exception! There will be robots, superheroes, and more. Don’t miss out!”
Every year the Camp Invention curriculum changes, keeping activities fresh and fun. To learn more about what’s on deck for the summer ahead and to register, visit www.campinvention.org.
