This year, upcoming conference days on Oct. 22 and Oct. 28, will be “Tech-Free” remote days with most learning taking place at home.
- These days were already designated as half days to provide teachers an opportunity to have time to meet with the parents and guardians of their students.
- This year these half days will be designated as remote instruction days.
- Students will stay home and complete activities that their teacher sends home the day before. Aside from a quick morning meeting, students will be working off-line and independently on these activities. This will allow for teachers to meet with parents beginning earlier in the day with no concern about a child’s missing a learning activity.
Thank you for your support and understanding of all the changes that come along with schooling during a pandemic. The students are doing amazing with their daily schedules, wearing masks, and practicing social distancing!
Reminder: Superintendent’s Conference Day, Nov. 3, 2020
As a reminder, Election Day (November 3) is a non-school day and students will be at home. This is a scheduled Superintendent’s Conference Day.
This year, parent-teacher conferences will predominantly be held virtually. Teachers will discuss with you the specific conference schedules and how to sign up for a conference. If you are not able to meet virtually, please let your child’s teacher(s) know and they will make other arrangements.
