Four Guilderland High School students celebrated securing the next step of their career paths last week at the annual Capital Region BOCES National Signing Day.

  • Aidan Conti, Building Trades CTE course, North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters
  • Corey Franklin, Criminal Justice CTE course, Union College
  • Dan Ralston, Building Trades CTE course, AMC Contracting/North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters,
  • Jackson Stone, Manufacturing & Machining Technology CTE course, Package One, Inc.

“Attending this program (Manufacturing & Machining Technology) has taught me all of the skills I need to start, as well as integrity and work ethic. This is amazing,” said Stone.

The event mirrors the National Signing Day for athletes who commit to play sports in college. It is designed to honor career and technical education (CTE) students who are entering a technical field and to celebrate the work.

Congratulations to these students on all of their success!
