The superintendent’s draft budget presentation for the 2020-21 school year has been postponed to Tuesday, March 10. Typically, the superintendent presents a draft budget at the board of education meeting in early March as a starting point for public discussion on the budget. This year, the district needs more time to consider program needs and expenses following a minimal increase in state aid projected under the governor’s budget proposal.
About 25% of the district’s current year revenue comes from state aid.
School district residents are encouraged to attend the initial presentation at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10 in the LGI at GHS.
