GHS students showcase their art in 3D

Eleven GHS art students had work selected for the 2019 Art in Three Dimensions Exhibition.
The annual show is an opportunity for Capital Region schools to highlight and showcase their three-dimensional art programs. Included in this exhibit are works made from clay, wire, jewelry, plaster, papier-mache, wood and found materials.
This year,  242 works were submitted from 18 area high schools and 76 pieces were selected for the show. The jurors included Brandon Siscoe, sculptor and 3D professor at the College of St. Rose and Sarah Haze, a ceramic artist, sculptor and the owner of Round Designs in Troy, NY.

The exhibit runs from February 4-28 at the Mohonasen Art Gallery, in Mohonasen High School, 2072 Curry Road, Schenectady. The opening reception is set for 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6.
