Grades 8-12 All-Remote Through the Holiday Break

Students in grades 8-12 will remain with all-remote learning through the holiday break. Students will return to their hybrid schedules on Monday, January 4.

  • All students in grades 8-12 will continue to follow their regular schedule each day.
  • Unless under quarantine, students in self-contained classes will continue to report for in-person instruction.
  • Students in BOCES Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs will still attend in person and will be picked up and dropped off at their homes.

If any student needs meals between Dec.16-25 and has not already been receiving meals from the district, please contact Megan Beck, GCSD Food Services Director at beckm@guilderlandschools.net.

Please know that the district is committed to our school community’s health and safety, and we look forward to getting everyone back in-person after the break. Our ability to offer in-person school is dependent on the decisions individuals make outside of school. We all must continue to follow safety protocols such as wearing a mask, social distancing and avoiding indoor gatherings. Thank you for your partnership and efforts to be safe during this time.
