LES Longhouse Week 2018

Lynnwood Elementary’s annual Longhouse Week has been a fall tradition since 1999. The week-long project began 19 years ago as a way to create an interesting, hands-on learning experience for fourth-grade students. Longhouse Week focuses on the historical facts of Iroquois life, but also encourages teamwork, communication and a host of other skills not found in the pages of a textbook.
