Music Teacher – Orchestra

The Guilderland Central School District is accepting applications for an orchestra position through the end of the 2019-2020 school year.

The position consists of primarily elementary string lessons and one day a week of high school string lessons.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Music K-12 NYS Certification

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience in teaching stringed instruments is preferred. Knowledge of Music Learning Theory is a plus.
  • Candidates must be excellent musicians, possess good communication skills, be positive and well organized, and be willing to work collaboratively as part of a team

Start Date: September 1, 2020

Salary: Per board approved rate
