Nine Guilderland students recognized for NYSBDA Honor Ensembles

The Guilderland Music Department is proud to announce that nine students have been recognized by the New York State Band Directors Association (NYSBDA) for their exceptional musical abilities and will perform in the association’s honor ensembles. Each ensemble will rehearse and perform during the NYSDA’s annual Symposium in Syracuse in March 2024.

Hundreds of students throughout New York State apply to be a part of these prestigious honor ensembles every year and NYSBDA selects students based upon their NYSSMA score from the previous spring.
