Seven FMS students nationally recognized for performance on Spanish exam

Congratulations to grade 8 students Owen Shepard, Dan Kagan, Bohdan Kinal, Emma Harbeck, Leah Dannehy, Kate Chorbajian and Savera Baloch, who recently attained national recognition for excellent performances on the 2019 National Spanish Exam.  The exam tested for Spanish proficiency in reading, listening, vocabulary and grammar.

The National Spanish Examinations are administered each year in grades 6 through 12, and are sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. Approximately 38,000 students took the level 1 exam this year.
