Students: Want to be a Butterfly Station volunteer this summer?

The Butterfly Station is looking for motivated students interested in ecology and service learning for the summer program. Students in the program lead guided tours, maintain the gardens, educate others and, most importantly, raise butterflies for the butterfly house! It is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy working outside and are interested and enthusiastic about ecology and teaching others.

For students hoping to apply as volunteers at the FMS Butterfly Station this summer, the (2) three-week sessions will be held:

Session 1: July 8 through July 26
Session 2: July 22 – August 9

Both sessions will run Monday – Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Space in the program may be limited. Please keep in mind that this is a full three week commitment. Sign up for the session(s) where the student can attend the entire time. Students interested in participating should complete and submit this form no later than Friday, April 19. Students will be notified via email of their official acceptance and session time.

Please note: Only Guilderland students with an @guilderlandschools.net Google account will be able to apply online. All others will need to contact Molly Fanning.
