The Dutchmen Robotics team sparks interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) by engaging students in designing, building, and coding a robot to compete against other schools across the region in the VEX Robotics Competitions. If you are a dedicated individual who enjoys researching solutions, experimenting with ideas, writing code, building with your hands and welcome failures that lead to success, Dutchmen Robotics might be for you. We will research each year’s challenge, draw your ideas on paper, transfer them to CAD, document your findings in an Engineer’s Notebook, build prototypes, redesign, test again and build a robot that you program. We meet about four hours a week and travel to competitions on Saturdays. Click here for more information.
