Artwork of five GHS students to be featured in the annual Art in Three Dimensions exhibition

Guilderland Central School District is proud to announce that five Guilderland High School students have had their artworks selected for display at the annual Art in Three Dimensions exhibition. GHS students Evalyse Peralta, Amelia Boswell-Penc, Aliyah Famodu, Caroline Francis and Ella Tuxbury each had their creations chosen out of a total of 241 works submitted from 17 high schools for this year’s show.

The exhibition will run Feb. 6-28 at Mohonasen High School and will feature a total of 94 artworks chosen by adjudicators Alicia Barton and Isabella Burnett of the Arts Center of the Capital Region.

There will be an opening reception for students, friends, family and teachers on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at the W.B. Haessig Art Gallery at Mohonasen High School. The reception will be split into two groups; the first will be from 6-7 p.m. and the second will be from 7-8 p.m.
