Livestream of budget vote ballot counting is starting on June 17

The district is livestreaming the ballot count for the annual budget vote and Board of Education election.

The district will be hand-counting ballots, as the Albany County Board of Elections was unable to provide the district with voting machines to scan ballots. The Livestream will begin at 8 a.m. on June 17 and will continue between the hours of 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. every day until all ballots have been counted. The public can watch the livestream of the counting of ballots on the GHS Media YouTube Page.

Results will be announced on the livestream and the district website after all ballots are counted.

This year’s voting process

The polls were closed for all absentee ballots submitted by U.S. Mail on June 16 at 5 p.m. The polls closed for all absentee ballots submitted to the district ballot drop box at the High School on June 9 at 5 p.m.
