Nearly 120 students in grades 3-6 got a firsthand look at what it means to be a Flying Dutchman during Guilderland’s second Future Flying Dutchmen Day on June 3. Participants explored more than 20 athletic programs, learned skills from Guilderland coaches and worked alongside varsity student-athlete volunteers throughout the day.
The event concluded with more than 50 raffle prizes and plenty of excitement as students connected with future teammates and mentors. The day offered a fun introduction to Guilderland athletics and left many students eager to wear the Flying Dutchmen uniform in the years ahead.
