Governor extends school budget and board election ballot deadline to June 16

Per Gov. Cuomo’s executive order issued on June 8, the deadline for school districts to receive school budget ballots has been extended by one week.

To be counted, school budget ballots can be accepted by hand delivery through 5 p.m. on June 9 and received by mail through 5 p.m. on June 16 by the school district.

If you are hand-delivering your ballot, it can be dropped off by 5 p.m. at the District offices at 8 School Road, Guilderland Center, NY 12085, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on June 8 or between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on June 9.

Any ballots submitted after June 9 must be sent through the US mail. Please mail your absentee ballots as soon as possible. Ballots will be accepted by the district only until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16. Ballots received AFTER June 16 can not be counted in the school budget and board of education election vote.
