Taber and Dinan named Dutchmen of the Week for Jan. 26

Each week, we highlight two student-athletes (modified, mod 9, frosh, JV or varsity level) for athletic accomplishments based on the following criteria:

  • The athlete should have made a significant impact on a contest within the nomination time frame, which is the week prior to selection; or
  • The athlete must have shown excellent leadership, sportsmanship, noticeable improvement or effort, community service, and/or other notable traits.

Congratulations to EJ Taber (Varsity Bowling) and Kylie Dinan (Mod 9 Girls Basketball) for earning DOW (Dutchmen of the Week) honors for the week of January 26th

EJ Taber (Varsity Bowling)

EJ delivered a historic bowling performance, throwing two perfect 300 games in one week on the road against top league opponents. He first achieved a 300 at Colonie, then later followed up with another 300, a 259, and a 290 at Columbia for an 849 series. This total shattered the previous league-high series by 51 pins.

Kylie Dinan (Mod 9 Girls Basketball)

Mod 9 Girls Basketball forward Kylie is a key player whose hard work contributed to the team’s 6-4 record. She offered up 15 points in a 34-32 win against South Colonie and dominated with rebounds and put-backs against Columbia, demonstrating determination and a strong work ethic. Kylie is full of team spirit, cheering teammates on during practice and games.
