Students’ Chromebooks should work without issue. At this point, connecting BYODs, including cell phones, to the internet in the building will not be possible. We hope to have that function up and running soon.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we have worked through this challenge. It has been a heavy lift for our tech team to restore our systems with improved security measures. The work is not done, and so we ask for your continued patience.
State testing for our fully remote students will not be available. Next week, math assessments for grade 5-8 will be administered as planned. The NYSESLAT will also be administered as scheduled.
The investigation with subject area specialists and the FBI continues; we will provide further updates when there is more information to share.
