From Jan. 29 to Feb. 9, the Guilderland Central School District conducted a ThoughtExchange to gather input from staff, families, and community members on budget priorities.
This year, 423 people participated. The results show strong support for the personalized, holistic education we strive to provide, along with questions about how to fund these programs—topics we will continue to address as we move toward the budget vote. You can view the full survey results and comments here.
Please visit our 2026-27 Budget Development page for voting information, budget presentations, Board of Education discussions to date, and historical budget materials. As the budget process continues, new presentations and updates will be added. Information will also be shared through ParentSquare and posted on the district website.
The annual budget vote will take place on Tuesday, May 19. Voters will have three options:
- In‑person voting at Altamont, Pine Bush, and Westmere Elementary Schools
- Early voting (with an early voting application)
- Absentee ballot voting
More details are available on the Voter Information page on our website.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the ThoughtExchange and shared thoughtful feedback.
