Andrew Altieri and Alyssa Griffin named Dutchmen of the Week for the week of May 5

Congratulations to Andrew Altieri (Varsity Lacrosse) and Alyssa Griffin (Varsity Softball) for earning DOW (Dutchmen of the Week) honors for the week of May 5.

Andrew Altieri (Varsity Lacrosse)

Andrew had a great three game stretch last week at the face off X. He won 50 percent of the face-offs versus Ballston Spa while collecting 14 ground balls. He won an astonishing 23 out of 29 attempts and collected 14 ground balls in a win versus Saratoga. Andrew then won 16 out of 22 in our win against Columbia. The face off wins he had were invaluable and allowed the boys lacrosse team to win two games that week!

Alyssa Griffin (Varsity Softball)

Last week Alyssa hit .500 and led the team in hits and RBIs. Alyssa is feared by opponents when she steps to the plate and respected by her teammates for her leadership. Alyssa is not only a great player but a great teammate who makes everyone want to play to their best ability. We are fortunate to have a player like her on our team!
