Congratulations to Brooke Lilley (JV Girls Basketball) and Jessica Helou-Topini (Varsity Girls Basketball) for earning DOW (Dutchmen of the Week) honors for the week of November 28th.
Brooke Lilley (JV Girls Basketball)
Brooke is an 8th grader on the JV basketball team. A multi sport athlete, she has brought her aggressive style of play to the basketball court this winter. She has led her team to three straight victories to open the season (Mohonasen, Hudson Falls, Queensbury). As point guard, she runs the offense and scored 16 points per game in those victories. She also led her team in assists and steals. Great job, Brooke!
Jessica Helou-Topini (Varsity Girls Basketball)
Jessica is a Co Captain for the varsity girls basketball team. She also helped her team to a perfect 3 and 0 start on the season, with victories over Mohonasen, Hudson Falls and Queensbury. During that stretch of games, Jessica averaged 15 points, 8 rebounds, 3.4 steals, 2.5 assists and shot 50% from three point line. Congrats, Jessica!
