On display now through Feb. 26 at Mohonasen High School
We are delighted to announce an incredible achievement by our student artists. Twenty-one Guilderland students have been chosen to present their captivating sculptures at the well-regarded Art in 3 Dimensions Exhibition. This yearly competition invites high school students from the Capital Region to showcase their exceptional skills and imaginative ideas. Out of 241 submissions from 16 schools, only 79 pieces were selected for display.
Juried by acclaimed artists Adam Frelin and Jillian Hirsch, the exhibit is set to be a spectacular event. The opening reception on Wednesday, Feb. 11, from 6-8 p.m. will shine a spotlight on GHS during the second group from 7-8 p.m. In case of bad weather, a snow date is set for the following day.
“We are incredibly proud of our students for their hard work and creativity. I look forward to seeing their masterpieces on display and hope you can stop by to support these emerging artists,” said Superintendent Dan Mayberry.
